In the fall of 2004 Scandius received 510(k) market clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its STRATIS™ ST (Soft Tissue) ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) Reconstruction System and STRATIS ST Femoral Fixation Implant. In January of 2006 the company recieved 510 (k) market clearance for its TriTis™ Tibial Fixation System and Implant. With the launch of TriTis Tibial Fixation System Scandius is able to offer surgeons a complete solution for their Soft Tissue ACL Reconstruction needs. Both technologies offer surgeons a simplified approach to repairing the single most common sports-related orthopedic joint injury - the reconstruction of a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Scandius is also growing a diversified platform of complimentary tissue/bone fixation products for the orthopedic sports market.  In addition to the STRATIS and TriTis Systems, the company maintains a strong R&D pipeline focused on other procedure-specific products that treat a variety of sports-related injuries.
